"Don't be angry just because you think your smart,"
One would like to believe that such a brilliant mind would know the difference between "your" and "you're".

Perhaps you've never heard the saying "It is better to be silent and thought a fool, than to open your mouth and prove it."

Message: bludak,
if serious replies are still allowed. i have a box sitting here from rpmoutlet. my 00 4.7 dakota ext cab is stock, awd, and in need of some horsepower. i mean i was wanting a denali 6.0 for a while but a divorce probably would come with it (not really but...) anyway, this box contains a chip stage 1 and a cold air intake. if anyone would be able to tell you a difference then let me hit 88 mph real quick and ask myself a week from now. since i don't have a flux capasitor, i'll have to let you know in a couple days.

Message: Ok I dont claim to be smart in physics nor do I doubt anyone's else's abilities in it. Im a senior with a major in Bio. But im curious to know exactly how all this physics stuff being thrown out by people translates to "real" differences in HP. I mean the differences between the KNFIPK, intense performance, CAI, or most others is gonna be minimal. Almost anything other than stock is better. You dont ever see drag racers arguing over air intakes. You want a big difference try cams or a s/c. You are arguing over something (CAI or not) that ultimately gives very little difference. Im just suggesting there are bigger mods to argue over.

Message: Atl_DAK...you are correct.
You know how it goes, one person throws out a dis and the next thing you know, it is an all out brawl of mudslinging and name calling. And some of us (me) just like to ruffle peoples feathers and they don't always take it so well.
At any rate, I agree with you about the intake, this thread did just start out with a simple question...
