Message: I have a '95 Dodge Dakota Club Cab 4x4 and I'm undertaking the extreme project of swapping in a Mopar Viper V-10 aluminum motor, a B&M Race Powerglide transmission with a B&M Pro Ratchet shifter, a full-time 4WD system, and 19" wheels. I am going to strip the interior and install a full roll cage, Sparco carbon fiber seats, 4-point harnesses, fiberglass dash and other racing ammenities. I am trying to find out if anyone has any experience in a engine swap like this. I am removing the A/C system so I dont think it will be too big of a task. Does anyone know the price of the Viper crate motor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hmmmmm...
I think it would be sick! to have that set up in a dak, I saw a pt cruiser with vip 500 hp engine in it, that was badass! GO FOR THE GOLD!
However I am curious to see how you are goin to do the all wheel drive set up....
sounds like alot of work, and money, good luck!

Message: Diesel fuel is cheap, modifications are pretty easy, the engines are robust and make a ton of torque down low. Throw some bigger injectors at the VW motor and gain probably 50-75hp then get a fueling box and thats another 50-100hp.
