Subject: NOS KITS? IP: Logged
Message: I would like to know whos nitrous kits are good for 5.2 dakotas. i want to stay under a 75 shot, will this ammount hurt my engine? I would only be using it at some red lights and at the strip. where dose the bottle mount and are the small one pound bottles good can the bottle mount in the engine bay and how long will it last? thanks for the input!

Message: hmmm to the best of my knowledge all magnum motors have hyperutecnic pistons in them (very hard pistons) that do not respond to well to nitrous oxide its not a pretty site when they come apart unless you are very well versed with nitrous oxide and have the tunning ability to to adjust accordingly another words if your a amature dont mess with it on the other hand if you have forged pistons in your motor and dont mind spending some time tunning you can have a lot of fun with nitrous. but if you have the fore mentioned pistons try a gear swap and a shift kit(or better clutch if its a standard)it will help you melt the tires just fine. a mopar performance cam shaft backed up with headers and a pcm will get you there quicker to.
