I just wanted to know if anyone on this board liked fords also or if u think their junk along with Chevy because i like both dodge and ford and i was wondering if there is anything wrong with that?

Actually. If I were to get a Sedan ever again. I wouldn't mind a Jet Black Lincoln Ls V8 with the shiny chrome wheels and stock spoiler. I think they look cool and are very nice for the price difference compared to a BMW.
Plus I was shown there are LOTS of mods for the 3.9 V8 already.

you got that right... those LS are nice! and i would also like a mustang but the wife is getting a new stratus(4 cyl./4 dr.), the mustang will be next or maybe a '04 dak 4x4 before they get ugly

I have a 95 mustang I love it. I also happen to have an 99 dakota RT and a F150 truck .the f150 truck rides and is so much comfortable than the dodge not the mention it doesn't break down like the dodge I may have changed evey suspension conponent on my RT I wonder what is next .
on the other hand my RT will smoke many mustangs and even some lightnings with the mods I have
that is what Ilike about it.

Before my dak, I was up in the air over whether I wanted an F-150 or my dak. I love the F-150s, but I love my dak more. I used to own an '86 Bronco II. Sometimes I miss it, mainly for nostalgic reasons. IMO it's either Dodge or Ford, no others!

I Just gave my brother my old 86 bronco 11. I loved that thing. It's amazing in the snow. He's going to put a lift on it, some big ass tires and probably a flowmaster for starters. I pretty much kept it stock the 3 years that I've owned it.
I have a 98 RC 3.9. Got it a few months ago love it and plan to mod the hell out of it.
The bronco's are the best thing to ever happen to ford, it's a damn shame they stopped making them.

I do kind of like the ford lightnings, that is to say I did until I looked under the hood and realized that 4 of the 8 spark plug wires were inaccessable.

Yeah, Broncos are cool. Plenty of space for carrying shovels, traveling money etc. It's even comfortable for a person in the back holding a gun to their head... not that I would know anything about that.

I'll agree that the topic is somewhat out of place here. However, it was probably started here, and not on the "Off Topic" board, to avoid the non-constructive abuse that is rampant there. When I saw this post Wednesday night, I thought that it didn't have a chance of getting any serious replies. I was truly surprised to see that it made it an entire day and a half.
Perhaps this site needs a "Slightly Off Topic" forum for non-dakota truck discussions.
BTW, my wife owns a '66 Mustang. I love that car. Even with the little old straight-6 that car can fly. Don't get to drive it much though, its still at her parents house. We don't have room for it at our place...yet.

actually I just bought a 8 year old Mercury Sable for my college age kids to drive when they are home because the 13 year old minivan we had got killed in a wreck. Actually it was a mercy killing as it had a really bad case of midwest cancer and a jack went through the l-r rocker panel while trying to change a tire, rear window leaked, repeatedly broke l-r shock stud,seats falling apart, oil leaks all sorts of little mechanicle gremlins that required constant attention.

mustangs are like tampons every pussy has one--buy a nice LS1 Camaro or Trans am. mine ran a 13.69 @ 101.5MPH bone stock oh and i get about 18-19mpg in town, 26-28mpg highway

Actually for those of you who like the Lincoln LS V8 its a 3.8 liter V8 with 32v putting out about 265 hp stock, my brother has a 96 continental and besides all the problems with it it goes like a bat out of hell
