Subject: MSD or Accel Coil???? IP: Logged
Message: The MSD coil has a max voltage of 35,000 volts, with primary resistance of 1.2 ohms, and a secondary resistance of 13.7k ohms. The Accel has 42,000 volts, with a primary resistance of 1.0 ohms, and a secondary resistance of 12.7k ohms. Just from the stats, which would be a better coil to use with 8.5mm wires? Thanks for the input guys!
