I have been looking all over for a r/t durango at my local dodge dealerships and they dont have any. Do i have to special order them or do certain dealerships only have them?

If you are talking about a 98-03 Durango with the 5.9L V8 they do not build them any more, so you can check some more dealers, or buy a totally new re-designed one with the new Hemi. I know this becuase my dad works for Daimler-Chrysler.

It is the same for a Dakota, except that on the dakota, witch is still the same current model, you can only get it with the 3.7L V6 or 4.7L V8 now.

You CAN buy an R/T Dakota from any used auto or Dodge dealer that carries used autos. You can also buy them private through people who are selling them. They ended production in 03 and they began production in 98, so you CANNOT buy them new. They were a limited production vehicle so they can be difficult to find, check your local auto/truck finder or any of the online resources to purchase a used 98-03 Dakota R/T.

I live in Maryland. I'm asking $11,500. I will have pictures this weekend. My scanners is broken and will be fixed this weekend and I can send them then if you are still interested. It has a cool air intake, high performance engine controller (stage 2), shift kit, 165 duration cam shaft, high tention valve springs, mopar performance headers, northern reflection true dual exhaust 3", autometer boost and air/fuel ratio gauges, 5" lunar monster tack, rockford false gate sound system, speaker box, pioneen head unit, clifford matrix rs2 alarm system with auto starter, automotive concepts sunroof, street scene roll pan with hidden hitch. It is also a club cab with gray racing stripes and it is deep amethyst. If you are still interested let me know so I can forward pictures.
