Subject: 03 dakota 4.7 upgrades??

i have been able to find anything for upgrades for my 03... as far as electronics go anyway. what have you guys had the most response from?? helping the intake side flow?? or the exhaust?? (i know doing both would be best... but wondering where to start!!!)

Start with a good air induction system. K&N, Intense Performance (mine), several others near 10 RHP at High RPMS. Headers will get a noticable torque gain, low end and about 10RHP. Catbacks won't get you much but sound good. F&B or Fastman throttle bodies get you about 10 RWHP again at top end, but move the torque curve up. PCM flash by Kenne Belle and others work too. HO cams are good, look at KRC performance for Dino's.

I'd reccomend some research before accepting all the numbers posted above. This site has a good search engine - you'll see some different opinions. I think best gains for the 4.7 are the cam change; and PCM flash if available.
