Message: Only one week left. Their is a event at Raceworld (199th Ave and Happy Valley Rd) this coming Saturday June 19th at 6PM.
Duner will be running his turbo 4.7. Supposed to be some fast Dakota's and Ford Lightnings running that night.
I'd like to meet some of you there to compare mods, trucks, etc. Anybody interested please post here so we can figure a way to hook up.

Seriously, I'm looking and it's not easy to find. Kingman is a
little too remote for me.

Message: Graph,
It's a "South Park: The Movie" reference. Guess I'm more geeky than you. ;) As for Raceworld, I'm not too sure I can make it. I'm out in BFEast Mesa and I'll probably have to work that day. Maybe when I actually have a mod or two to show...
another mark,
I bought 10 acres on EBay, but that was up in Holbrook. I would suggest the AZ Repugnant classified, in the 'Out of Area' section. I think I remember seeing acre or so lots somewhat cheap.

Brucifer. I'm not going to run either. Heck. I have a 4X4 QC. Not a match for juiced Dakota's and Lightnings!
I just want to go to see what serious mods OTHER Dak owners have. Plus meet a few of you guys while we are at it.
The race isn't until 6PM. I have to work the morning until early afternoon myself.
You could make it. Heck. I drive to my wife's Grandparents house way out in Queen Creek. There, they DO bring their own water!
Try to make it. It would be cool. And there peobably wont be another chance for a while for an event like this. You will be kicking yourself later.

Message: I've got a new plate coming, but probably not before Saturday.
So for now my plate still says HCRUSHR
Was a joke to mean Honda Crusher!
I even defaced one of my plates by gracfuly painting the "H" shape more into a the Honda "H" shape! It looked great. But a COP once made a comment about defacing my plate. SO I've got the un altered one on.
I hope to see you there. I also will be in a 4X4. It's Graphite. Of course.

Message: You Dak owners will go home with your tail between your legs after you get stomped by the Ls! Even if you happen to win one or two, you still have a butt ugly DOdGe! Just make sure to pick up your parts off the track after you make your runs! By the way, I don't know how DOdGe managed, but they made the new Dak even uglier than the current one! See ya losers!!!

Message: "Stomped by the Ls"???
What is that? Are you talking about LS as in a Chevy LS engine? I think this is just trucks dude!
While I don't know if I will ever like the 2005 Dakota, the preivious ones are NOT ugly.
Better than a Chevy Colorado any day of the week!

Message: Scratch what I posted two times ago.
My new license plate arived already. That was FAST. The DMV is not known to be fast. It only took two weeks for my plate to get approved and arrive in my mail box!
The new one is plain jane looking. Looks like any other plate but is actually personalised.
It now says 4X4 DAK
Simple enough.
SO anyone going to the races Saturday night look for me. I'd love to compare mods.

Message: Sorry you couldn't make it.
The only two guys I met that are on the boards were Todd and Duner. There were some Dakota owners that don't hang around on here. Duner seemed to know them.
Here's a copy of what I posted in the members area...
The races were pretty cool last night.
We didn't see any 12 second Lightnings really. But a few Dakota's ran good 12's! I think one ran high 11's, but I forget whose it was so I'm not going to guess and be wrong. Maybe Todd will remember.
It was too dark to take pics with the digital camera while they raced. I have to make some pics of the races off the video I took.
But here are the Dakota's that were there.
This is Duner's turbo.
He ran good 12 second runs with his little 4.7 V8! Nice Lightning killer.
This black R/T was pretty damn fast. Supercharged 5.9
Pretty clean truck here.
Another Supercharged 5.9
I'll have more time to go through the video later.
I think Todd should have some pics too.

Message: No problem guys. Linking shouldn't be a problem. If it does, I'll just move the videos over to some of my cox space he he he :-)
My website is pretty slow anyway. Not too much traffic there and it's as much my personal photo album as a web site if you know what I mean. Nothing like being able to bring up your own photos and such from any computer anywhere. Most of the traffic shown is just the pics and videos linked to forums I've posted them in anyway.
All of my stuff is here http://www.paysonarizona.net/
I kind of want to change the name now, but it's too much work. (I used to live in Payson Az hence the name).
The Cinders would be AWESOME. I'm dying to see if I can get closer to the top of some of those nasty hills there. We didn't do to well last time, but that was before my piston swap. I've got more power out of my heavy Warrior now.
Well. I just stopped by at home between calls and got to go back to work. It was great meeting you guys.

Message: Sat night was a blast, and really enjoyed meeting graphite(and friends), duner, and the other dak guys. I really enjoyed watchin the daks beat some of the lightnings. All the daks that were there were awesome in looks and performance.
I really appreciate all the info i got from the dak guys that were there, as i was asking alot of questions about their daks and their opinions on performance mods. They were a really friendly group of guys who were more than willing to give knowledgable answers about dak performance mods, and anything else i asked. THANX GUYS

Message: Ditto. I never thought of that but he has a good point about those Daks. All the mods were done in true HOT ROD fashion. It was nice to see no RICED out Dakota's at the race track.
Believe me, there's some Riced out Dakota's on the streets near where I live!
Todd, did you ever find out what kind of Dodge that white car was?
It was early 80-ish I know that. Were they called MAgnums?
That car was a SLEEPER and really fast! What did he do, 10's? He didn't lose by much to that mid 9 second Fox Body Stang Big Block!
