Message: airaid tube only goes to 03, there is no 04 application. My ait sensor is in the airhat. I think they need a hole for that sensor for the 04. Got any ideas.

Message: I haven't done this myself, so do some more research, but I believe from previous posts, that the 00 (01???) AIT sensor was a screw-in, as opposed to the current twist setup.
The sensor are supposed to be the same, so you are supposed to be able to buy one of the screw-in type, tap a hole in the tube, extend the AIT sensor wires if necessary, and run it.

Message: I ordered an air aid cold air intake kit for my 04 4.7. this just included the filter and shroud. then i went for the tube. aparently they only make them for 03 models and not the 04's yet. it is larger in diameter where it slides over the throttle body. So I cut a peice if rubber off the stock intake hose and made a sort of gasket to fill the gap and tightened it with the clamp. it scared me when it didnt fit. but i wasn't gonna let someone sell me somethin' i couldnt use. The IAT sensor fits just fine when you use the provided rubber grommet.
