Ok...I'm upgrading to an MSD ignition and I want to make sure that I buy all of the parts that I am going to need.
Required:
MSD 6a or 6al
Recommended:
Blaster SS coil - going to buy this
universal plug in harness part number 8873
May also need:
PN 8910 Tach Adapter
ballast resistor Do I really need this?
Any help would be greatly appriciated.

You do not need the Tach adapter. Go with the 6A and save the extra money. Mount it on rubber grommets/washers for added protection. SS coil will work fine. Go with the 8873 to make it easy to switch back to stock.
Summitracing has the cheapest parts I have found next to Ebay...
