Subject: RPM spikes? IP: Logged
Message: Any help?. In my 2001 5.9 R/T has just started this problem. On the freeway around 60-75 (with or without cruise control on) I can hear through the exhaust or by watching the Tach its spiking guessing aroun 50-100 rpm's spuradically. I can't feel the difference driving but can hear it and see it happening. Any help???? The &^%%ing dealer said they could not duplicate the problem but they suck anyway.???

Message: Handy Hank you are very HANDY. Problem solved. Is it my imagination, the truck seems to run better now. Is that possible? Anyway thanks again. I bought the sensor at AutoZone for 35 bucks as aposed to the dealers $82. Hope the parts are of equal quality. Anyway on to the Supercharger install.

Message: no its not your imagination, it will run better, since it is getting an accurate reading now... its feeding the proper amounts of fuel per air and should also improve your fuel economy now too.
