Does anyone know where to get a good X-Brace for a 99 CC 2wd 318 dak?

And has anyone heard of a Strut Tower brace for the same truck?

first off, the X-Brace is a piece of metal tubing that goes between the frame rails and stiffens the frame for better handling, which i have never heard of on a ricer, just German sports cars and racing vehicles. second off, i dont know much bout suspension (obviously) and was just suggestin ideas (that were wrong) about ways to stiffen the body of a dakota.

Third, just because i suggested a part from ricers doesnt mean i am a ricer.

AND PLEASE, IF YOUR GONNA MAKE FUN OF ME, AT LEAST HAVE THE BALLS TO DO IT UNDER YOUR OWN NAMES INSTEAD OF SOME MADE UP POS NAME THAT YOU CAN HIDE BEHIND!

Also, you obviously know as much about ricers as i do since you have obviously watched their shows and know what parts they use!

Jeez, apparently some people just can't get enough of themselves.

Here is an article from MoparMuscle detailing installation of an X-brace on a CC Dakota.

http://www.moparmusclemagazine.com/howto/37249/

Here is the manufacturer for the X-brace for your truck.

http://www.kennybrown.com/

I called and they still sell them for a 99 Dak, price was $359.99.

Looks like a decent mod for stiffening the chassis. A simple search on Google also turned up a lot of R/Ts on dragtruk and other sites that had them installed. Doesn't look like a ricer only mod to me. Good luck with it if you decide to do it. Judging from my quick research, looks like you will be pleased with the improved handling.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your help P and kevin, yeah it helps alot.

And i was talkin about your call name on this site, which you still have not used, you ignorant idiot. And yes this is my call name, youre obviously pretty new here because ive been posting under this name for close to a year now.

And no, i dont plan on autocross'n my truck. Some of use would like to have our trucks handle a little better, and besides, a stiffer and stronger frame means more load and towing capacity. You still dont seem to understand this concept.
