 Subject: Mopar ECU and 87 oct?

Gas is killing me on my R/T these days. I have been thinking of trying 87 or 89 octane. I am currently running a Mopar ECU, K&N, ported/polished throttlebody. Am I going to hurt anything herE?

She may ping badly with that Mopar ecu.!
Possible have to use standard ecu with
especially 87 oct.

By the way, I am half way through a tank of 87 octane. No pinging thus far...and it stills seems to run pretty good. I am running a 180 degree thermostat...I wonder if that might make a difference.
