i think a jet chip is available, but most say that theyre a waste, so i wouldnt bother with that. superchips is supposed to have a programmer in the works though

The Mike Leach flash works great for the 2000 4.7 but you have to send the PCM to CA for it. That and the HO cams both worked very well for me.

Thanks for the link but the site only shows a module for the 2.5L, 3.9L, 5.2L and the 5.9L but nothing for the 287cid. Interesting that you tried a module made for a different engine on your truck, and you see results?

When I searched I was checking for the model year 2002. It would appear there is a Venom for the 2000 model year. Wonder if it would work on a 2002? Not likely. Thanks for the link Dako.

The Leach flash might if driven conservatively; more power from extra spark advance should be a little more efficient. I can't drive that way myself, got more performance without losing milage anyways.
