Are Dakotas and Durangos the same except for the bodies? (Comparing similiarly equipped models) same platform,engine,drivetrain,etc. thanks

the durango is half dakota and half caravan.
front doors and word is like a dakota and the butt is like a caravan. The front suspension and the whole drivetrain is similar to a dakota.
