That, I believe, is the correct part number. It's been in their system for almost two months now. It's a tenative backorder.

DodgeHeaven, "Imports" are now mostly made in America by Americans with mostly American parts by U.A.W Union labor. What is more American a Toyota made in the America by Americans or a late 80's Chevy Celeberty made in Korea and then shiped to the America, or a Cadalac Allente made mostly in Italy then shipped to America via 747 and finished off here in mid-Michigan or how about a Chevy Truck that is less than 70% American made because of all the mexican,canadian and twainesse parts that are bolted on to it.Lets not forgett that GM owns large chunks of Fuji, Daewoo, Saab, Isuzu,Fiat and many other forgien car manufatures. Lets not forgett that Toyota and GM not only share some plants they are also shareing a couple of vechile that are identical other then badgeing.

I would not waste money on hotter coils! The coil on plug gives each coil 8 times the dwell time that a single coil system would have on a V8. If you want to increase spark energy you can go with a fine wire electrode designe like the new Denso Iridium. If you reduce the amount of energy required to generate the spark it is the same as increaseing spark energy. Unless your are running alot of boost pressure(in excess of 1 atmosphere)then I doubt that upgradeing your ignition coils would realy do that much good.
