Subject: Intake positioning IP: Logged
Message: I recently put an Airaid intake on my 4.7, and I love it. It replaces the airbox lid and filter and clips onto the bottom half of the stock box. My question is, I removed that horn-like tube from the front of the box, b/c I fig'd it would get more air that way. I was wonderin whether I was correct or should I just leave that piece on or what? Is it just gonna get hot air?

Message: slide a fennco 4" no hub over the hole. It is flexible rubber and will fit right around the oval hole. Make sure you tighten the metal clamp once you put it on. You can get one at Home Depot or Orchard Supply, 7 dollars.
