i just recently today received a 5.9 complete engine with harness out of a 99 Ram that i would like to swap into my 99 Dakota..... does anyone know or who has done this that can tell me what all i need or a link that would give me all the info i need on what to get in order for this swap to be done without the loss of important parts... i have some what of an idea on what i'll need but i just wanna be sure... thanks to anyone that can give me any helpfull info....

if that 3.9 has an automatic behind it and you plan on reusing it behind the 5.9, don't. you will end up trashing it the first time you tromp on it as it cannot handle the 5.9's torque.

well thats not big deal to me.... i figured i would need to change it but atleast i can still drop the motor in and take it easy till i get the trany i need.... its just the little odds and ends that im still not sure on that i will need....
