Hey! Can anyone tell me if it's at all possible to stuff a dodge 440 into a 95 dakota? (I understand that new motor mounts would need to be fabricated, I'm just wondering if there is enough space.) If not what is the largest motor that will fit into a 95?

Yes, it'll fit. Even the broad-headed 426 Hemi will fit.

I realize its a different body but didn't hot rod shove a 528 into a dakota? If they can get that to fit and work anything is possible.

Check out Schumacher www.engine-swaps.com they make a 4 banger & V6 to small block and B/RB kits! Oh man I can't emagine my little short bed regular cab '94 with a HEMI. sweet
