I have an 01 RC 4.7 and 3.92 rearend with a z tube intake and a flowmaster dumped right after the muffler. Not sure but it actually feels a lil slower off the line than stock but has more in the higher RPMs. I have raced a v6 frontier just cuz he kept tailgating me. I let him try to pass me then just walked away. I also raced a 95 or so mustang from about 30 to 60 or so. Good race but i got him.

What is it about a ricer that once they are beaten they will not even look at you?
Do they realize how much of a loser that makes them look like?
Almost without exception (99/9%)they are the ones who start the $h!t, and when they lose (99.9%)it's like it never happened. If they managed a win, you know they would be all freaking out and laughing.
There are not enough middle fingers on my hands to express my loath for these punks.

Glad to see I'm not the only 4HI holeshot killer. I've raced just about everything. Mustangs, camaros, civics (not much of a race) s10's, silverados (z-71's blow), f-150's, yota's, rangers. Only thing to beat me is a talon tsi and that was just barely. Stop light to stop light I'm still undefeated.

BIGTYMER, those are all good kills. And I'll have to assume that those Camaros were V6's? Unless of course you're HEAVILY modded and running 13's or lower?

V8POWER, I've beaten V8 camaro's on the strip and on the street. You don't have to run 13's to beat a car that's only running high 14's. I'm running a slightly modified 4.7 through a 5spman and a 3.92lsd. I'll admit it's a close race, but first is still first. I usually walk away the whole first half of the track and they almost catch me when we cross the finish line. In other words, I've got it all over a camaro in tork and their extra horsepower isn't enough to beat me.

Most of the stats that I've read have the Camaro Z28/SS in the mid to high 13's and 0-60 in about 5.5 seconds. And their Horsepower is very underrated (as to not steer people away from buying the Corvette). You'd have to be more than "slightly" modified, or the driver did not know he was racing you.

V8 Camaros have been around since 67. I'm pretty sure that there are some slower than 14sec 1/4s.

You've gotta stop and think for second though. There are some horrible drivers out there. That's what it's all about. I know a guy where I live who drives a 2001 Lightning, but I'd murder him in my r/t just for the simple fact that he doesn't know how to drive it. Heck, my friend outran a 2002 5-speed Mustang GT in his 1989 Civic Si, NO JOKE!!! Some people just can't drive!!!
