Subject: 4.7 with Jet Chip and IAT Adjuster?
IP: Logged

Message:
What is the group opinion on using both the Jet Chip Stage II and the IAT Adjuster on a 2001 4.7?

Do they work well together, compliment each other or does one cancel out the other, or forget about the chip all together and just go with the IAT adjuster?

And, no issues getting a IAT adjuster with the stock TB then using it once the Flowmetrics 69/70mm TB is available?

Thanks in advance...

Hello Mace,

I tried the Jet II and IAT adjuster together in my 00' 4.7 and the truck did not like it at all. They seem to fight each other over the IAT sensor signal.

I then tried each independently, retired the chip and stuck with the IAT adjuster. My post with the actual results are somewhere here on a related thread.

If you have any questions, just lmk.

A Tech at the Dodge Dealer told me that he used the Jet Chip Stage II with the K&N FIPK and moved the IAT sensor to the intake tube.

I found this on Ebay:

Ebay ITEM# 1842916087

He claims it did him some good. Any suggestions?

I've also heard the Jet Chip sucks a$$. The IAT adjust supposedly works well, but I think people are expecting too much from it (i.e. it wont turn your truck into a 13 second rocket)
