I have a 94 dak 3.9 w/175k on the motor. the truck is a daily driver, and I was wondering what cheap addons could be done to boost hp. sometimes I go mudding with the truck and just need more hp. any help would be great.

I would get a K&N Intake for two reasons.
1. you do get a little more hp out of your truck with it. Better gas mileage and so on.
2. If you go TRUE Mudding, then you can buy a snorkel kit for your pickup that mounts to the k&N air box perfectly.

For off roading, a "cheap" add on would be a shift kit, if its an auto, it'll help traction, and eliminate heat buildup in the tranny and engine.
another "cheap" method would be to go junk yard diving for a v8 throttle body from a 5.2...the 5.9 would be way too much for it....
swap out the thermostat to a 180 degree...
