Message: Boy was this one hell of a argument in its day. While this argument may have played for favor on the 4.7's side back then, it just isn't the case anymore.
There are more aftermarket parts NOW, in 2007, for the 360, than there were when the Magnum 5.9L came out in 1998, and until the original R/T's demise in 2003.
Aparrently, retiring the engine didn't seem to stop the aftermarket from making parts for it. The parts today for the 360 are of much better quality than they were in the late 90's and early Y2K. You can do better than 1:1 hp/displacement today on the 360.
