I have a 97 dakota 5.2/318 4x4 390 gears 5 speed. The truck now has 122000 miles on it, and it is really dogging down. I'm graduating from college this semester and starting a good job in the engineering field. I want to make this truck RUN, but yet be reliable. The body on this truck is in great shape. I plan on getting headers, exhaust, and intake real quick, what is the best combo for that. Should i pull the motor and dump a new one in? I just want to know what you guys think, i'm up for anything. Give me a few ideas. I could go buy a new truck, but this truck is sharp, fully loaded, and very clean. What should i do?
