Subject: TRUSPEED IP: Logged
Message: Just installed the Truspeed unit in my '99 dak. It was very easy to do. The hardest part of the install is getting the wires through the firewall.
It seems to work, but I haven't checked the speedo readings next to another vehicals on the road yet. The tranny seems to be shifting at the appropriate times now.

Message: It only requires that you hook up four wires. A ground, power( to the fuse box )One twords the abs moduale and the other to the same wire going twords the wire loom / computer.
I thought it was easy to install and I paid $180 for it.

Message: I just put it in too... awesome! Calibrated it by using mile markers on the street. Got it so perfect. The hell with putting the thing in the truck Just mounted the sucker in the engine bay. I don't see what the point is of having it in the cab. If you need to flip the setting switch ur gonna have to get and change the tires anyways! Just thought work not needed... It was butt ass cold under that truck though!
