Message: I am fix'n to put some 33x12.5x15 mud terrain tires on my dakota and was wondering what tires are best, bfg? mud kings? buckshot? pro comp? If any of yall have these tires let me know what yall think about em or which ones yall would recommend. Thanks

Message: I've got Procomp X-Terrains on mine. They are 31x10.5 on 15x8 AE589 rims. They sing pretty loud anywhere above 45mph, and their straight line stability sucks pretty badly, but I've got 3 Solo Baric Subs in the cab so I can drown out the noise...unfortunately the straight line stability problem is unavoidable.
(Really cool looking tires though)

Message: Pro Comp Mud Terrains. I have 31x10.5's on my 2wd Dakota. I love 'em. They are kind of loud though, so I don't know about the noise from a 32 or 33.

Message: I've got Dunlop Mud Radials on mine. They are 285/75/16's. I think that is pretty close to a 33. They make some noise, but you will get that with any mud tire. Other than that, the stability is fine. Haven't really given them a good mud test yet, but everything else I have thrown at them hasn't been a problem.
Sorry to get off topic...but...
Perpetrate, who makes that front bar that you have in your picture under your name. It's just what I've been looking for.
Thanks

Message: the mtr is a hyper all terrain. so it will have better road manors then most mud terrains.
the MTR stands for max traction radial.
the ex terrains however are also a hyper all terrain. I havn't noticed any straight line stability problems. especially considering they are not radials. they are loud and on some longer highway trips I really can't listen to the idmax and boston accoustics for 4 straight hours.

Message: thanks guys for posting, i really want the MT/R's but i can't afford them. i am wanting some tires around the price range somewheres around $150 a tire. There is a tire store close to me that sells Wild Countrys and i like the looks of them but i was wondering if anyone knew how good they where (like wear, cleaning, traction on wet and dry pavment, and grip in mud) if anyone can answer these questions, please do. thanks

Message: I have a set of 32" Pro comp m/t's. There not too loud and road drivabilty is not too far from stock tires. I think they are going for 4 for the price of 3 sale right now.

Message: I like the BFG Mud Terrains... I've run them in the past, am running them now, and will run them in the future. Great off road traction/cleaning, and good highway manners. I drive 65 highway miles a day just work and back and they are good. Great durability also.

Message: I have ProComp M/T's. They work great in sand and rock, good in the street for a M/T. I have no complaints, I haven't used them in the mud or rain yet, but they do come sipped.
