Message: it totally depends on what kind of look you're going for...but the most affordable would be a body lift, running right around $150.

Message: I have towed a 19 foot ski boat behind my 2001 Club Cab 4x4 and it looked pretty level to me, not sure if it is a QC thing or not, but I was happy with how mine did. Oh, I also have the trailer towing package and the tire and handling package which adds a rear stabilizer bar.

Message: Guys,
I have the same set up on an 01 QC. Last week I had an enclosed 5x12' 4000lb trailer behind my truck all weekend. The truck was fine. I have the torsion bars cranked about 1" to level the truck. With the trailer hitched and fully loaded it only sat about 2" lower in the rear. I carry about 200-300# of sandbags when the weather gets nasty. With the weight it sits about 1" lower in the rear. I thought I would need helpers but the truck has been great so far. Jim

Message: Bill,
I'm pretty sure you can, but I believe there's some minor trimming involved for street use, and some major trimming involved for off-road use.
Good luck, and please keep us posted on your lift.
Thanks Bill.

Message: I'm not sure why my post yesterday didn't work.. but here we go again..
Bill Good luck w/ your lift get a GOOD SHOP to install that and have them beef it up.
Your 35's should work on stock wheels but you will rub with that Truckin lift on there brackets (poor designing). Your going to need something w/ a higher off-set.
I had the 4.5" lift from them and it was actually 6" (good measuring on there part). If your 6.5" lift is more like 8" which would be the same amount of error as mine was. You should clear 35's with out any problems.
When your Torsion bars go out make sure you get some heavy duty ones to replace them with They are only going to last a max of about 3 months.
You might want to see if the shop installing the lift can install some springs instead of using the Torsion bars. It'll look better and last longer.
Make sure you check all the brackets that get installed every week (I'm so not kidding here I ended up checking all of them every day) for any cracks or bending.
Also make sure the distance from the tire & wheel well is the same infront & behind the tires. On all 4.
Check the pinion angle of the rear drive shaft.
Make sure your front drive shaft isn't making any odd clicking noises. If .. or maybe I should say when they realize your U-Joint on the front drive shaft can't handle the angle and they have to replace it. That they replace it with a U-Joint that can handle constant torque and has a greasable fitting. (That's a key factor there greasable fittings.... your going to want to re-grease it every time you change your oil). Speaking of changing oil.. Make sure you rotate your tires everytime you change your oil if you go with mud tires. If you do all terrains you can wait every 5,000 miles or so. (It's just easier to remember if you do it at your oil changes).
Anwyay .. Good luck.. Take plenty of pictures of all the mounts preferable durring the install if possible..
GOOD LUCK!! I hope it turns out better for you then it did for me.
