Subject: Power windows IP: Logged
Message: My driver side power window takes longer to come down and sometimes when I stop it part way, it will stop then slide down an inch. Any ideas how to fix this annoying problem? I already ask Dodge to fix it but since its "operational" they cant do anything about it. It sounds like a rusted spring or one that is wearing out?? You can actually hear a springing noise.
Thanks

Message: I don't understand why the dealer can't, or won't, fix it. It's not working right, it has a problem, it needs to be repaired. Just because it's partially working makes no difference. There is a spring mechanism and a motor inside the door cavity, if it's similar to most power window setups. I think that you need to find another dealer.
