Message: Anybody have a problem with heater output, my Dak doesn't seem to produce much heat. Is there an electronic control or motor that adjusts the door/valve/whatever?

Message: Mine will make your face feel like it is on fire, when on defrost. When using the floor vents, it doesn't do much. I believe the floor ducting is just too small.

Message: Mine is way too hot actually. It never goes past the second setting. I keep it on defrost and that's plenty for the cab. It also gets the overhead console and rear view pretty hot.

Message: I took mine to the dealer complaining about lack of air flow from the floor vents- gets hot just poor flow. Dealer said that DC maid the vent smaller for 2001 due to complaints of too much flow. Imagine that- they overcorrected the problem.
