Having an issue with my reverse lights.
In the morning or after my truck has sat for a while the back up lights WORK. After driving to work and backing into a parking spot they DONT WORK?
I've checked the connectors for both rear bulbs and they are fine. Both light bulbs are fine. I've checked the connector on the transmission (manual 5 spd) and it's fine.
Has anyone had a similiar problem? Is the switch in the trans faulty when it heats up?
Can the switch be easily changed without loosing gear oil?
General cost of the switch?

Just checked Rock Auto online and the switch is $8.00 - 13.00. Looks like an plunger type switch with NPT thread.
Going to call the dealer today and get a price.
