Subject: Nerf Bars / Step Bars for Dodge Dakota IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2002 Dodge Dakota extended cab and it is very tough to find wheel to wheel nerf bars. So far, I've only found them available from Westin, but it's unclear if they are wheel to wheel. I've seen P/N 250940 and 250950, but they're like $400!
Any suggestion on other mfgs for my truck?
Can I use the crew cab nerf bars on my extended cab truck?
Thanks in advance

Message: I think the crew cab ones are too long. Have you tried mopar? There's a few mopar websites you can check or call your local dealer. Have you checked 4 wheel parts?
You can look at the mopar ones on my truck on my car domain page

I bought the truck used and it came with them.

Message: I have the Westin Black Powder Coated bars for the QC. Looks great with the Black Sport model. If you do go with Westin, absolutely do not get the powder coat, get the chrome instead. Mine are rusting really good and they're only 4 1/2 years old.
Off topic, but is there anyway to surface prep and repaint these, or am I better off just starting over with something else?
