Message: Hello, I have been wanting a Dodge dakota for the past few years. I test drove one the other day. It is a 1999 with the 5.2 and club cab. The motor was clean, and interior was immaculate. Some of the things I notice were: at low speed going down an alley I felt a lot of feed back in the steering wheel. 'bout near ripped it out of my hands. Also going around turns I had trouble letting the steering wheel slide through my hands (kinda like a front wheel drive car)
Do you think it just needs a wheel alignment. The truck has 72k miles is there something I should be looking out for?
Also when I stepped on the gas at 30mph it didn't even drop a gear...felt kinda sluggish (any ideas what the problem is.. if any is there.
