Has anyone else had problems with their posi unit on 2001 Dodge Dakota Quad 4X4. Mine fell apart at 49,000 miles. All hiway miles. $1,400 to repair.

Mines been acting up at about 44K I�ll be bringing it in next week. Did yours seem to bind after it warmed up when making turns?

I had no indication except oil leaking out of the axel seal.

Try adding some friction modifier to the rear-end. I bet this helps you out...
