 Subject: 4.7 Can I Add Power?

I have a 2000 4wd V8 4.7 and would like to add some power. Dont have a ton of $ but would like to do something to give it a little more giddyup! Any suggestions?

Type '4.7 mods' in the search window at the top of the screen and you'll get a ton of info. Here's a good one for starters....CLICK HERE
Here's a couple freebies...take the belt driven fan off the front of the motor, relocate the IAT sensor(not free, but less than $10 in materials), do the throttle position sensor mod, (better throttle response). Use the search engine to find out how these are done.
Some other good stuff...Get a set of cams and intake from one of the H.O. motors (They come in the Jeep Grand Cherokee and can be bought at the Mopar parts counter), free flowing exhaust, larger throttle body, intake tube with K&N filter, there's tone of info on this site, just take the time to do the research.
