This isn't a Dakota, but our other car that we love. Since there is a lot of experience here, I thought I would check here first. I have a 95 Ford Taurus SHO that vapor locks! I've always thought that a car with EFI wasn't prone to this problem. But it defitely is vapor lock. Any suggestions as to a remedy? Could we have a bad fuel pump that isn't generating enough pressure? Can a mechanic test that fairly easily? Please help. We love this car, but this is getting really frustrating. Thanks everyone.

ya i would figure its the pump. you need constant high pressure. see if you can tap into one of the schrader valves in the fuel rails to guage the pressure.
