i've done it, as well as bill lawrence(albeit, he had "7" inch dyn's in his)....i took mine out in favor of a console location...what do you want to know about them?

welllll.......it has good mids, but not because of the 8s....mine only play 80hz and down....i run a 6.5" midbass in the kick(80-500hz) and a 4" in the dash from 500+, and now the 8s in the console...
