Message: Has anyone checked out the new Fram Xg series
of filters with the Triad element? I tried it on mine and noticed the oil pressure only dropped to about 40psi at idle. BTW the ONLY oil I use is
Castrol Syntech 5w50.

Message: haven't found any filters i really like. i tried the fram and thought it sucked, guage was under 40 @ idle. i tried a bosch (i know i'm askin' for it there) and it seemed to work fine for about 1k miles. now the guage reads under 40 @ idle and doesn't climb much. and yes i checked my oil level.

Message: dude,
from previous posts on the FramX, i found out that fellow members did not approve of them. one member cut it out and was not impressed of how the filteration was. i'd suggest on the the K and N Gold series oil filters. they are the best on the market now. my 2 cents
mahalo,
Scotty
