Subject: small block into a 90 dakota IP: Logged
Message: I have a 1990 straight four, shortbed, two wheel drive. I have always wanted to replace the 4 banger with a carbureted 318 or 360. My question is, are engine mounts the hardest part? What radiator would fit? I imagine that the stock 7.25 rear end would fly apart from athe added power. What would be the easiest rear end to put in. I can get ahold of an old 83 Diplomat with a 318 that is intact except for the heads. Could I swap out the whole drive train?

Message: If your truck is 2wd, give the URL below a try. I don't know how well the kit will work, but they look like they know what they are doing.
