I have the factory running boards and thought about installing fender flares as well. Dodge does not make running boards which mate up to the flares or vice versa except for the Durango. The reason why the Durango is "special" is because there is no cab to flex differently than the cab. If you had solid one piece running boards from well to well, they wouldn't remain in good shape for very long because of the frame twisting. The running boards attach to the body, not the frame. The only option that I have come a cross or thought of is to get some Durango running boards and customize them to fit. How feasible? Not very, unfortunately. Also try contacting the guys at custompickup.com they may be able to help get you one that will work. (One of the guys there drives a dodge ram) They got me a nice tonneau cover to go on my truck which isn't easy because of the rails and rollbar. Looked all over the place and they gave me the best help. Their probably not a local place for you but they do web orders. |

They are one piece wheel to wheel, made out of aluminum, however they do not fit close to the body. They went back to the dealer.I will search on. So far I have found 1 set of fiberglass( from AERO-TEC) that will work with the factory flares and one set of paintable aluminum that appear to be fiberglass. (from DEE-ZEE) |
