Subject: Finally got the cat IP: Logged Message: Well, I decided to call today to see if my converter came in and would you believe, the truck driver was still there when I called..the guy I talked to at the parts department was amazed with my timing..lucky me..so, I have an appt. monday to have it put on and I plan to clamp on the Gibson dual outlet Monday night...Oh yea, I also added white face plate and installed an alarm with power locks yesterday....all successful so far...now if I could just get the salt off of my paint(WV DOH blankets our roads at the hint of snow)..my next venture is going to be the quickd intake and throttle body, msd ignition(the even fire DOES work for the 3.9, right Bernd??), autolite plugs, and either amsoil or mobil 1. Plan to have some 1/4 times soon...never timed this thing so I'm not sure enough to guess a time...working on a website..when its up(if ever), I'll let you guys know...Thanks for your help with everything...keep 'em running.. Bernd GenIII 1/06/2001 10:09:13 | RE: Finally got the cat IP: Logged Message: Yes, the MSD 6200 works just fine on the V6's. If you run the MSD, set the plugs at no more than .005" larger with the stock coil and about .010" larger with the MSD (or Accel) coil. Plugs...highly recommend the Autolite 3923's. Definitely let us know how she runs after it's all done! :) Bernd D. Ratsch 1997 Dodge Dakota SLT Supercharged w/Nitrous |
