Subject: I need good tires IP: Logged Message: Well, it has been raining in NC this week and I realized that I desperatly need new meats. What is a good width tire that will perform but not look to wide.(I dont want to look like one of those kids with an 84 Firebird 4cyl with 275's on the back!) Budget is also nice, because I am really in to burnouts. Cheap and durable is nice. Tyler A '00 Dakota Sport V-6 Reg Cab, 5spd, and Clear Corner lights |

Discount Tire has 3 stores in and around Charlotte, they sell good quality generic tires, I had some Chaparral ATs on my old S-10 that lasted a long time. I saw you live in Cary, I live in Fayetteville. Wear do you go to school, NC State? KJR 1995 Dakota Club Cab SLT 4x4, 5.2L, 5spd, 3.90 rear end |

Rob454 Dodge Dakota JOIN HERE 1/22/2004 13:50:14 | RE: I need good tires IP: Logged Message: I had a set of Walmart Liberator tires on my work van and a toyota 4 runner. all 4 installed was 350$ and that included a lifetime road hazzard and mounting and balancing and lifetime rotation and balancing. they lasted for 56 000 miles on the work van and about 20 on the 4 runner. i sold the 4runner but the tires didnt look worn at all. The other tires I like are the Mud king brand which also has a all terrain tire. got the muds on my truck currently and abotu 30K and they are about 1/2 worn. the muds get really noisy which is why im getting some ATs soon I wouldnt go too cheap on the tires. some tires are made really cheezy and wont last at all. I know that Americas tire store has specials 4 tires for 100$ but I dont think they are a good tire. i consider those more of a Im selling my vehicle and it has new tires sort of a thing. Rob |
