Hands down, K&N Gen-II (modified to fit the V6)

If you don't want to do that, either the QuickD or Volant Air Intake system.

Gains vary from vehicle to vehicle so the average would be around 5-10HP max. (Cold air depending)

How about a home brew intake with the K&N filter?? Isnt that as good.??

You can build one yourself from Home Depot using the Black plastic tubing for about $50 (w/Filter). (3" - 3.5" work well.) The difference is the flowbench testing behind the K&N which also uses a redesigned Air Hat.

(Hey, even I built my first intake system from a Honda Intake Tube - Blue Anodized w/Filter.)

That Home Depot kit sounds better adn cheaper than the Volannte Kit, those arent worth a darn. I seen one all melted, they sure dont last long.

The biggest one (mod wise)...that you remove the stock airbox from the engine compartment. The smallest one...you may have to build a small bracket to hold the filter up. (GM Alternator brackets work excellent for this.)
